teething biscuits, puffs and a little reading...

on thursday...qualls had his 1st teething biscuit. he is finally getting his bottom 2 teeth in and wants to chew on everything. he LOVED the biscuits!!!

qualls also had his first puffs (banana) this weekend! he is alot better with them than quinn was at his age. quinn would choke on them! who knows how...they melt in your mouth. he did it on a sunday morning at church and i thought the lady behind us was going to give him the heimlich. mom and i just looked at him because we knew it would eventually melt. :0)

qualls loves the puffs! he loves being able to feed himself!

quinn is participating in the reading program at the library here in town. abbe, tobey and i always participated in it every summer and we all loved it. we completed our first "x" this weekend. quinn marked it himself.

shopping, sprinklers, tball = a whole lot of fun!!!

we had a great memorial day. in the morning, quinn and i went with gigi to target and a couple of other stores before coming home to hamburgers on the grill. pops had them ready and they were great!!! quinn enjoyed some time in the sprinklers...he even got me running through them with him...not a good idea when you have on the clothes you wore out shopping earlier in the day. he had a blast and so did i...so, that is all that matters!

yesterday, we took the kids to build a bear. jessica's (my brother's girlfriend) parents gave the boys a giftcard when qualls was born so we went and used part of it. quinn has been before but he was much more into it this time than before.

stories of the day...

we went to lowe's later in the day to pick up stuff for our backyard patio. we were checking out and everytime the cashier would scan something in our cart...quinn would clap...say "good job" and give him a thumbs up! jq and i were cracking up!!! quinn is very supportive! ha!

we always have supper with gigi and pops on friday nights. we went over their house last night. quinn was being a stinker about something...so, he said his usual..."i'm sorry" then hugged pops...then turned around and looked at jq and said "i'm so sweet." so funny!

super word club and some recent projects...

tuesday...we went up to the elementary school for the kindergarten awards day. cousin noah and luke both got awards for being in the super word club! all of the kids were so cute!!!

here are a couple of recent projects that i have completed...

a funny story (not at the time though)...

the other night...the boys and i went to gigi and pops' house for supper. i just grabbed the formula container and took it with me. well...at 1am...qualls woke up for his bottle. i go in the kitchen to make it and realize there is NO formula. i left it at gigi and pops' house. oh me! i had to wake jq up to keep qualls entertained so i could run to wal-mart to get formula. i really don't remember going to wal-mart...which is really scary. when i walked in the door...i had a screaming 7 month old.

what have we been doing?!?

qualls loves carpet. we only have carpet in our bedrooms and we do the majority of our playing in our living room...so, when he goes to gigi and pops' house...he constantly rubs his little hands on it.

we also went to a birthday party (where i did not take any pictures), went out and about with aunt abbe and meredith, played with quinn and qualls' friend, cole. we have had a great few days and look forward to a wonderful week!!!

we had a wonderful day today. we all went over to memaw/granny's house and played. meredith, luke and noah were there too...so, they had a wonderful time!!!

bless his heart. he was outside for 3 hours yesterday and his allergies started acting up horribly!!! so...in return his eczema has been a pill too...

he is one sweet...off the charts boy though!!! such a snuggle bug! i cannot believe he is 7 months old!!!


tonight...gigi and pops came over for our usual friday night dinner...catfish...



today is also abbe's, my sister, birthday!!!! happy birthday aunt abbe!!!

growing some vegetables...

i was watching tori & dean about three weeks ago. they were sitting outside near their garden and it was so cute! i knew that we had to do one for the boys!!! jq really does not like when i get these ideas...because it usually means work for him.

then...he planted the plants/seeds while quinn watched...

i worked on the signs...

and now...we patiently wait...

quinn and jq go out and water the garden every night. quinn LOVES it!!! i told jq that it was a good idea!!! :0)
