today...qualls wore two outfits to church that quinn wore...i found the pictures of quinn and took some of qualls...

funny quinn stories of the day...

after the lord's supper this morning at church...the collection plate was being passed...i had given quinn a $5 dollar bill to put in the plate...when the plate got to quinn...he put the money behind his back and put his cracker (that he was snacking on) into the plate. needless to say...everyone around us got a good laugh.

every night...we say a bedtime prayer. quinn folds his hands and closes his eyes...after i say amen...quinn says "amen" and claps then gives me a thumbs up with a "way cool, momma"...well, he did it today too...after the opening prayer at church...in his loud quinn voice. another laugh was had by everyone around us.

at least...he keeps us on our toes...and the thing is...qualls is right on his heels...

returning to the regular daily posts...

i have been lacking in the posts this past week...

this is what we have been doing...

we play music every day. the boys and i dance and act goofy...(imagine that!). quinn just all of a sudden grabbed two pencils...climbed up in the chair...and started acting like he was playing the drums...uncle tobey would be soooo proud!!!

qualls and i have been inside while jq and quinn have went outside. sweet little qualls has continued having a bad runny nose...quinn has had some bad coughing episodes but bless his heart...he was ready to get out and enjoy the weather!!! as jq said...he was a little kid in a bubble. we go back to the doctor tomorrow and i am hoping that we get a referral to an allergist.

some funny things quinn has done over the last week...

he asked me over and over again to watch "thomas the train" (the new quinn obsession) and i kept telling him "no." he was being good later in the day...so, i just turned it on. he turned around and gave me a thumbs up and said..."momma, you are way cool!" that boy!!!

quinn tells me usually when he poop poos...(we are starting potty training soon...if these boys would ever get well)...he came into the living room and told me he did...so, i said okay. he then proceeds to pull out a lightening mcqueen pen from his diaper and says "i poop poo lightening mcqueen pen"...i about died...he had not really poop pooed...he was just being silly!!!

on another note. our sweet qualls turned 6 months old on the 5th. cannot believe it!!! i will have to do his monthly post asap!!!

kiss my brain...

one of my friends, kara, teaches quinn's sunday school class. kara is wonderful and so cute! when the kids answer a question or do something "smart"...she tells them to "kiss their brain." quinn was telling me his colors correctly the other night so i told him to "kiss his brain."

Quinn is starting to talk more and more each day. He still has a lot of stuff that we don't understand but he can tell a story. One of my friends..."wants to break his code (what he is saying)." Cracks me up! We are now afraid to say "yes" to things he asks because we do not know what we are saying "yes" to. We have really started watching what we say!!!

Here are a couple of things...Quinn has said here lately...

(some I am not so proud of but I want to remember them so they are going on here)

**we are trying to teach him "yes mam/sir" and "no mam/sir"...the other day I told him to do something and said say "yes mam"...he said "yes way." i kept saying say "yes mam"...he continued saying "yes way" and looking at me like i was crazy. so, I now understand why he has been answering me with "no way" and "yes way"...

he thinks he is saying "no mam" and "yes mam." that boy!!!

**one of the ones i am not so proud of...JQ was singing (crazy) at the top of his lungs the other day. Quinn was yelling "stop, stop, stop." i walked in the room and Quinn looked at me and said "mama, das (aka dad) sings like crap." i about died! so, he did get in trouble for saying that but i think his parents need to start watching what they say and what is on the tv when he is in the room.

**as you have seen from prior posts, Quinn loves anything about the "cars" movie. during the holidays, a tv show came on with pixar short stories and we tivoed it. he wants to watch it all the time so i have really made an effort for him to only watch it once a day. he had already watched it for the day (gigi was here visiting)...so, he came in and set on the couch beside gigi and asked me to watch "cars"...i said "no" and gigi said "say please"...so, Quinn says "please"...i reach for the remote and he leans back on the couch and raises his hand in victory...and loudly yells...

"yes, i got it!"

We are looking forward to many days of being entertained by Quinn and Qualls. A day will never be boring...that is for sure!!!

Quinn was not Qualls' fan at all when he was born. Qualls would cry...Quinn would cry! It was a rough couple of weeks! It has gotten soooo much better in the last month! Here is a video I caught of Quinn and Qualls...before it got better!
